Sue! I can't remember if I'd put a note in the box - I know I wrote one but I'm very scatty. The candle is beeswax so once it's burnt you can use the cup for it's proper purpose. Also - to make the tea, put 1 tbsp in a diffuser into 500ml of water and use honey to sweeten it (according to the people in the know at the Tea Shop).
