Necklace - Spiral Rope
I made this today, very simple and relaxing - just what I needed today after a hellish weekend. Mark and Max went out for a bike ride and I enjoyed the sunshine and quiet! I am now making one in blues for a commission. The lady wants something simple and fairly plain, for her mother. I think this will fit the bill nicely.

'Bright' Partner Challenge
Further to the glimpses shown a few days ago, here is the finished piece. It is a very short necklace and the pendant hangs in the hollow of the throat. I thought that the chain should be understated as the pendant is large and colourful. Having tried it on, I can confirm that it is comfortable and hangs beautifully. This piece is going to go into the Crafter...oo Comic Relief Shop on Folksy.

A Lariat for MIL's Birthday
This was made as a present for my mother-in-law. I took lots of jewellery to show her on Sunday and she liked the purple lariat I made in March or April. I asked her if she would like one and she specified blacks and pearls as a colour. I really hope she likes it! I wore it this morning (as I always road-test my pieces before giving them away - to make sure that there are no faults) and sold one to a friend! So wearing pieces CAN generate sales!
It is made from a simple rope/spiral stitch which is easy but time-consuming. The beads are size 9 seed beads.

Another commission piece
This bracelet was made specifically to go with the necklace that I produced at my last beading class. I understand that it is going to someone as of a Christmas present - now there's forward planning for you! I posted a picture of the necklace back in June, but I have included it as a picture of the set to show how they go together. It is made using a double rope stitch which is easy but very time-consuming.
