Spiral Necklace

This necklace is absolutely stunning - the photos do not show the colours properly, which is a shame. It is approximately 15 inches long, so sits at the base of the neck. I absolutely love it but it is going in my Folksy shop...

Finished TTNP

This was made for my friend. I finished it on Friday, but was unable to post it as I had a fantastic beading class with Daisy Beaders yesterday.

TTNP - 4th December

This is being made for a friend who liked the one I made for my MIL. I have nearly finished it now although this photo shows it at around half the necessary length.

'Pandorion' Kit - Beaded Cabouchon

This is a kit I bought yesterday. I loved the Fluorite cabouchon but must admit to swapping the seed beads. The instructions are so clear - you can see that I managed to bead the stone easily. I am currently making the flowers to go around the edge and then need to make the necklace for it to hang from.

I am really impressed with the kit so far though! Pandorion is a shop in Colchester and sells loads of lovely beads. I am doing my C&G course there.

Edit 10/10/08:

The embellishments are added (apart from some fringing) and I am currently making the necklace section.

Dutch Swirl Ear-Rings and an Updated Necklace

I got the pattern for these from one of my new books (recently blogged). They were simple to make and I think they are really effective. A bit too glitzy for the school run maybe, but perfect for all the Christmas parties coming up...

And this is a necklace I made a while back. My friend wants to buy it and asked me to shorten it for her. She ordered a pair of matching ear-rings from the removed beads! Waste not, want not!

Another commission piece

This bracelet was made specifically to go with the necklace that I produced at my last beading class. I understand that it is going to someone as of a Christmas present - now there's forward planning for you! I posted a picture of the necklace back in June, but I have included it as a picture of the set to show how they go together. It is made using a double rope stitch which is easy but very time-consuming.

Ndebele bracelet aka herringbone!

I discovered today that the bracelet is herringbone stitch! I didn't realise that they were the same...doh! Here it is in another colourway.

Beading day makes

It was a fab day. I made these two part projects and added a lot more once I got home. The black and white necklace is nearly finished now. The berry work is going to be a bracelet and might be a birthday present for a friend, depending on how it turns out!

Two cards

I was just playing last night and quite liked this colour combination, so I made two similar cards. The paper is already adheshive, so they were really quick to make.
