Finished WIP - Piatine Bracelet

This kit was really enjoyable to do. I normally get bored half way through and leave it to do at a later date (i.e. never!) It took me less than a (already very busy) week and I love the finished article. I am going to shorten the closure stitching though, as the bracelet is loose and I fancy it being more of a cuff. (My fault, not the pattern).

I really recommend Bead Merchant for all their things; beads, kits etc.

Second Kit From The Bead Merchant

It started out as a bracelet, but it stretched as I removed it from the sitck I worked it up on. So, rather than cut it up, I made it into a necklace - I'm nothing if not inventive!

A Second Cable Bracelet...

This is the same pattern as the original bracelet from The Bead Merchant but I only did two rows, and used different colours.

A Kit from The Bead Merchant

I bought this from the Bead Merchant on Saturday - it was the first Saturday of the month, so the shop was open to real people rather than internet sprites! I bought 4 tubes of beads and three kits (blush), of which this was one. It was easy to make, being Right-Angle Weave (one of my hated stitches) in size 10 triangles, with added size 5 triangles and a picot edge. My friend was wearing one that she had made a while ago and it was so pretty on her that I had to make one too. Her colours were better than this, but I am currently making another one in colours that are more me.

Tealight Is Now Finished!

It actually looks very pretty. I am not 100% happy with the base when you look at it from the inside, but, let's face it, there will normally be a tea-light in it won't there!

A Second Freeform Bracelet and a Pendant

This time, I used a bead mix from The Bead Merchant, called 'Pot Pourri'. I have had it for ages and never known what to do with it! Yesterday's class solved that...

This pendant is made with another Bead Merchant mix, called 'Misty'. I think it is really cute and am now trying to decide how to hang it!

Pretty Bracelet

My friend had bought a kit from The Bead Merchant about a year ago and needed some help. So, she brought it round the other day and I sat and made it up at the same time as her, so I could see how to work it up. It is a very simple pattern and quite sweet, but a bit too 'pretty pretty' for my taste. My friend really liked the mix of beads that I used but they were just a 'grab something quick' selection and not what I would normally wear.
